About Us
AKCAF is an emotion, a sentiment that brings nostalgia, a word that evokes memories of a time when life was full of joie de vivre, when young people were just starting to explore life and all it had to offer…a blast from the past…reminiscent of the college days…where dreams were crocheted into every wall of the campus, where companions wrangled and squabbled, only to make up over a cup of hot tea at the nearby canteen, where maths, science, arts, sports and youth festivals all conglomerated into a kaleidoscope of colours that wove a mesmerising picture in the tapestry of life.
Some of those colours were bright and beautiful, symbolising the victories and achievements, challenges overcome and lessons learnt.. some colours were a little jaded, probably denoting those memories that are tucked away in the recesses of the mind, memories that bring pain or regret..yet all these pieces were required to complete the puzzle of life when we were young. At AKCAF, we try and recreate those long lost memories, bring friends together for that light hearted banter that makes you forget about your worries for a moment, make everyone feel young again through finely crafted programs that have become the benchmark for ourselves to improve each time, and provide opportunities to everyone to pursue what their heart desires…scores of college alumni groups across UAE with members spread across all 7 Emirates find AKCAF to be home, where they can be themselves and be part of a myriad of events and causes, both under the banner of AKCAF Events or as individual college alumni groups. AKCAF – a name that every Keralite in UAE holds close to their hearts, where every member selflessly and wholeheartedly immerses themselves in that sentiment…

AKCAF Events is a UAE-registered organization where various college alumni groups come together, hosting events both as AKCAF and individual alumni. Throughout the year, programs are conducted, uniting alumni from different parts of Kerala under one umbrella. Known for our expertise, we consistently set high standards, making every event a stellar, crowd-pulling success. We have truly mastered the art of organizing exceptional events.

AKCAF Events represents nearly 200 college alumni groups from institutions throughout Kerala and boasts over 70,000 followers on its official Facebook page. With a vibrant community engaged across various social media platforms, AKCAF fosters collaboration and networking among alumni. Its significant online presence enables effective connections with its audience. Ultimately, AKCAF serves as a vital hub for alumni to reconnect and engage meaningfully.
Members of AKCAF Events are esteemed leaders from various sectors, recognized for their societal contributions. Their extensive networks with organizations and government agencies enhance collaboration and facilitate impactful initiatives. Accomplishments
ALL KERALA COLLEGES ALUMNI FORUM – AKCAF UAE is an organisation registered under UAE law by like-minded friends, who have passed out from different colleges spread throughout the length and breadth of Kerala and are now residing in the UAE, formed with a vision to celebrate the great relations that exist between the two nations of India and UAE. Though we are primarily connected with the alumni members of more than 170 colleges (and growing!) we have, as our first priority, the wholesome welfare and well-being of the Indian community. We organize events for the Indian community at large and for college friends from across Kerala. We also bring cultural festivals and events to UAE fostering bonding and brotherhood between people and countries.
AKCAF includes prominent personalities from leading business organizations, service industry such as mainstream media, banks, financial institutions, IT, etc., and dignitaries of Indian missions and other social veterans. These demographics give AKCAF as an organization a prominence and recognition in the country, since Keralites also make up a significant and influential portion of the UAE population, making AKCAF popular among the Indian community.

- Registered and legal entity in the UAE to do events and programs.
- Largest Facebook alumni group (70k+members)
- A repertoire of experience of having conducted more than 100 extremely successful events in the UAE.

- AKCAF Ladies Wing – a large and vibrant Ladies Wing
- AKCAF Children’s Club – enhancing the talents of the children of our members
- AKCAF Task Force – the team that initiates and executes the Corporate Social Responsibility aspect

- AKCAF Careers Group – where job openings are posted.
- AKCAF Welfare Team – providing various benefits to members

Milestones
- Awarded by the Guinness Book of World Records for the Largest Floral Carpet in the year 2019.
- AKCAF was involved in collecting money for a local government run charity organization DFWAC. Widely acclaimed and appreciated by many governmental and non-governmental bodies.
- As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility, several programs have been undertaken including:
- Donated a fully functional mobile clinic in partnership with Aster DM Healthcare and Salsar Foundation to communities in Kasargod that is still reeling from the Endosulfan disaster. Regular medical camps in association with college alumni associations and others have ongoing.
- AKCAF Task Force formed during the pandemic to support people with medical assistance, food supply, Travel assistance, volunteering at vaccine centers and other humanitarian support.
- Chartering 5 flights to India to repatriate the people stuck in UAE during the first phase of COVID-19 pandemic.
- One full flight was charted free of cost to Kerala in association with Kavya Films.
- An active member of NORKA COVID Support team in UAE. Involved in the Vande Bharat Mission of Government of India and was appreciated and honored by the Consul General of India.
- Conducted blood donation drives in association with Blood Donors Kerala – UAE, even during the pandemic.
- Conducted breast cancer awareness programs with Zulekha Hospital and Protect Your Mom International.
- Partnered with Domino’s Pizza and Watani Al Emarat Foundation to provide food support for about 15,000-20,000 underprivileged people across UAE during the holy month of Ramadan, in 2021.
- Partnered with Mehar Abu Shaireh and FoodATM to provide cooked meals to more than 150,000 needy people during the holy month of Ramadan in 2022.
- Conducted IFTAR or more than 15,000 people in Labor camps over the years. Conducted several webinars on health.
- Involved in Indian consulate sponsored charity drives, blood donation camps and other voluntary activities.
- Involved in charitable activities to support the less privileged within the Indian community in UAE in association with member colleges and other associations.
- Conducted the largest online Kalamela, a unique cultural program conducted completely virtually, that saw a participation of close to 200 alumni associations.
- On going partnership with Aster group for AKCAF-ASTER Wellness Campaign to provide health and wellness awareness and treatment support for all AKCAF members and families across UAE and Kerala. Several hundreds of members have been the recipients of this benefit.
- Conducted mega programs, with superstars and celebrities to celebrate Onam, Christmas, EID and all such cultural festivals on multiple occasions since the year 1998.
- Conducted various Arts and Sports events for members and public
- Participating in and promoting educational events.
- Conducted literary and poetical gatherings by eminent personalities from India.
